"Belle"

At almost 9 years of age, Belle completed her AHBA JHD title. This is a sheep herding title.

Belle is a female Greater Swiss Mountain Dog with an excellent disposition. Belle was born at Shadetree Kennels. Her breeders are Catherine Cooper & Paulette Spiering. To view Belle's pedigree, click here. Belle won the brood bitch class at the Midwest Regional Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Specialty Show in October '01, demonstrating the quality she has produced! In September, 2002 Belle completed her AHBA HCT herding title!

Belle won the Brood Bitch class at the Midwest Regional Lake Shore Specialty Show 10/19/01

OFA "normal" patellas (SMH-PA18/30/F/P-t);
OFA "normal" cardiac (SMH-CA28/41F/C-t);
OFA "normal" shoulders;
CERF eye exam "normal" (SMH-192/2000-43);
Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title;
AHBA Herding Capability Test (HCT) title; and
Temperament Testing (TT-12-GSMD) to earn the TT title at the end of her name!

Belle is very proud of her pups. To date she has produced four champions and other pointed pups. She is also the dam of "Elsa" the #8 Greater Swiss Mountain Dog 2001- all breed points.

Belle is currently learning to pull a wagon. She also enjoys chasing squirrels. Belle also herds sheep and has her AHBA HCT herding title.

Belle's first litter of puppies with Goliath can be seen here. They are all growing and doing well in their new homes!

Belle's second litter of puppies sired by Intschi can be seen here. They were born on November 19th, 2000! They are all in their new homes, growing and growing!

Belle is now retired from breeding and living the good life here at home.
